PUBLIC BOAT LAUNCH

ANNUAL -  Boat Launch Passes can only be purchased from the Butman Township Offices, MON - WED - FRI, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. effective February 12, 2004 through a motion by the Butman Township Board of Trustees.  NO BOAT LAUNCH PASSES WILL BE SOLD AT LOCAL PARTY STORES OR BAIT SHOPS.   If a person has (3) three daily passes within (1) one week plus (1) one day, they can apply the cost of the (3) three passes, $18.00, toward the cost of a Seasonal Pass.

 BY MAIL -  A person may request a Seasonal Pass via mail and enclose a self-addressed self-stamped envelope along with a check made out to Butman Township, 5005 N. Hockaday Rd., Gladwin, MI  48624.  Butman Township Residents must forward 'proof of residency' for the residency annual pass cost of $25.00; non residence fees are $35.00.

DAILY -  Boat Launch Passes are available within the Boat Launch Parking Area (this is an honor system)

All vehicles without a permit posted on your vehicle's windshield, or vehicles/trailers parked outside designated boat launch areas, may result in your boat trailer being towed from the Launch Site at the owner's expense.  Butman Township is not responsible for any damage to the trailer due to towing.

Our inland lakes have walleye, pike, sunfish, catfish etc. and we hear all those BIG fish stories ("I caught a pike 44 in. Lake Lancer today") daily!!
